Carpathian small aviation
Project objective
to create a sustainable platform for effective cross-border mobility of people and goods by establishing small aviation connection using existing border aviation infrastructure, strengthening cooperation between border self-governments, institutions and aviation companies.
Expected achievements
- New solutions in existing transport connections and strategic approach based on small aviation development will be provided within the project, and improvement of the accessibility of the regions.
- Development of the new location of the airfields and landing strips in newly formed communities in Ukraine and in border regions, creation of the first flight-sharing web-based platform in the area, development of the VFR Guide for airports, airfield and landing strips with aeronautic map, holding small aircraft festivals and events for raising the awareness of the local population and attracting the potential investors and main stakeholders into the small aviation topic
- Increasing the number of passengers and number of vehicles (aircrafts) using the small aviation infrastructure in border regions
